I was approached by the cool guys of The Broccoli City Festival, to help visualize and bring to life their Id for the 2017 edition of the festival.
They were aiming for an litteral approach this year, and needed me to bring an actual Broccoli City to life. The end result is this huge broccoli world displayed across a series of illustrations.
The challenge here was technical. I decided to go with Cinema 4D + Octane for this job and It took a lot of tweaking since I was working with very limited GPU power.
Once again asked by Superinteressante Magazine Art Director, Fabricio Miranda, to come up with some illustrations.
The idea here was to tell the history of the Refrigerators across time focusing on how different and revolutionary It were, and the huge impact It had in the world.
The inspiration was the classical spaceship door opening scenes from sci-fi movies, with a ring of light and lots of fog and atmosphere. Kinda like something from another world.

It was the first time I used Octane for a project, and the timing was a real challenge, since the full development time frame was around 8 hours.
I was approached by Iara Adeodato to come up with a double page illustration for Superinteressante Magazine.
I always wanted to work with Superinteressante, they are a really cool magazine here in Brazil and a lot of friends and super talented artist that I admire worked with then in the past.
The briefing here was to imagine and give life to the concept of Earth like plantets, more specifically Proxima Centauri. It was really interesting to observe the potential similarities and differences between planets and how simple factors can change some absolut concepts we have in mind, like the color of the water, vegetation, sky etc.
I decided to participate on this years @36daysoftype the morning It begun. Like most artists nowadays, I've always being intrigued by everyday projects. Since this one had a set date to finish, I've decided to give It a shot as a test to myself.
Some letters are cooler than others, and in the end I do enjoy the whole of the series I came up with.

I've been contacted by Bryan Bartlett from Adweek to develop a concept based on the idea of the brain process behind how people interact with their e-mails.
It was a really fun concept to develop and I had full creative freedom in the process, ending up with an surreal and deconstructed version of the e-mail creation process.

The scenes were based on famous horror franchises (Walking Dead and The Exorcist for example). It was a really fast paced project, and helped puch my skills to another level.

Abstrakt is published by WIRE, one of the biggest Think Tanks of Europe.
In many ways this project was completely different of anything I had done before, and really opened my mind for different approaches to editorial illustration.
